Iceland Hockey Tour 2012

The trip to Iceland was amazing! The scenery is truly breathtaking, I had the chance to see things I would never see in Canada. They say that Iceland is the newest country and it is cool to see the lava fields, crystal clear blue lagoon and bubbling mud pits, at times I thought I was on a tour of Mars. Let’s not forget the most important part, the hockey! Playing in Iceland was amazing, they players were very talented and gave us a run for our money, they were very friendly and had a strong passion for the game. It was a lot of fun to play against the best in Iceland, and they were excited to play against us Canadians. I also had a great time visiting the school and even playing some pick up hockey with the young hockey players outside the arena. The night life was great, the people on the tour were great and the entire trip was the experience of a life time!
